Rwenzori Mountain Range

The Rwenzoris are often referred to as the Mountains of the Moon, as mentioned by Ptolemy in AD150. But there is no firm evidence for this association.
The range is about 120 km wide at its broadest point and its highest peak, Mount Stanley, rises to 5,109 metres and is permanently covered in snow.
